A registered charity, Happy Monkeys was formed with more than 50 years of experience as a pioneer in monkey welfare and conservation, environmental education, and long-term practice in the field of primatology. The conservation of non-human primates is a key concern for us, and we are committed to doing everything in our power to protect these critically endangered species. In Cornwall, we house monkeys who have been rescued from abusive or neglectful environments at The Monkey Sanctuary, which has an international reputation for providing excellent levels of care and employing creative management techniques. We hope to influence local and national policy to improve the plight of the world's primate population, in collaboration with other organizations.
